Peer Review Process

International Journal of SocioHuman Multidisciplinary Research (IJSMR) follows a systematic and transparent peer-review process to maintain the academic quality, originality, and integrity of published research.

01 — Manuscript Submission

Authors submit their manuscripts through the designated submission system. The manuscript should follow the journal’s author guidelines and publication requirements.

02 — Editorial Screening

The editorial team conducts an initial assessment to determine whether the manuscript is suitable for the journal’s scope and meets basic standards of quality, originality, formatting, and research ethics.

03 — Reviewer Assignment

Manuscripts passing the initial screening are assigned to qualified reviewers with relevant subject expertise. Reviewers independently assess the manuscript and provide constructive academic recommendations.

04 — Peer Review

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:

  • Originality and contribution to the field

  • Research methodology and academic rigor

  • Clarity and organization

  • Validity of analysis and conclusions

  • Relevance to the journal’s scope

  • References and scholarly presentation

  • Compliance with research and publication ethics

05 — Revision

If revisions are required, authors receive the reviewers’ comments and are given an opportunity to improve their manuscript. Authors should address the comments carefully and submit a revised version within the specified timeframe.

06 — Editorial Decision

Following the review and revision process, the Editor makes the final decision. Possible decisions include:

Accept | Minor Revision | Major Revision | Reject

07 — Final Processing & Publication

Accepted manuscripts undergo final editorial and formatting checks before being scheduled for publication in IJSMR.
