Conflict of Interest

The International Journal of SocioHuman Multidisciplinary Research (IJSMR) is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and integrity throughout the publication process. A conflict of interest may arise when personal, financial, professional, institutional, or other relationships could influence, or appear to influence, the objectivity of research, peer review, or editorial decisions.

Authors

Authors must disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest at the time of manuscript submission. This may include financial relationships, employment, consultancy, funding, personal relationships, institutional affiliations, or other interests that could affect the research or its interpretation.

If no conflict exists, authors should clearly state that there is no conflict of interest to declare.

Reviewers

Reviewers must disclose any relationship or interest that may affect their impartiality. Reviewers should decline the review assignment if they have a significant conflict of interest with the authors, research, institution, or subject matter.

Editors

Editors must make editorial decisions objectively and independently. Editors should not handle manuscripts where they have a personal, professional, financial, or institutional conflict of interest. Such manuscripts may be assigned to another qualified editor.

Disclosure and Management

All declared conflicts will be treated appropriately and handled in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies. Where necessary, IJSMR may request additional information, take appropriate editorial action, or require a correction or disclosure to be published with the article.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that conflicts of interest are transparently disclosed and do not compromise the integrity and credibility of the journal's scholarly publishing process.
